Sport is an essential component of Janjati life. Archery, Athletics and many other sports have been practiced by the Janjatis from time immemorial.
VKA promote sports through its sports centres & conducting sports competition at the block, district, state & national level every year.

Achievements
Vijay Kumar, UP - Asian Archery Taipei Open Tournament,
China – 2015 – Bronze Medal .
Chewelo Thele, Nagaland – Champion in University Archery competition.
She was selected in Nagaland Police service and subsequently became Lady Commando Topper.
Appreciating her talents Govt. of India projected her as a Poster Cadet.

The first National Janjati Sports Meet was organised at Mumbai way back in 1988 and thereafter the meets are organised successively
The 22nd Sports Meet was organised at Kanpur in December 2019
